The Minibus Project

Before the Covid-19 pandemic plans were well underway to provide a low cost community minibus service for residents of Milford on Sea and the surrounding area. This initiative could make a huge difference to the lives of residents, particularly in providing social support for residents who have no other form of transport available, and who might otherwise become isolated. It will help to make Milford “greener” by encouraging residents to use their cars less. In time the project would like to look for grants to provide an electric vehicle.

We need new volunteers to take on this project. Most of the money has already been raised to purchase a vehicle, but we need a team of people who can offer some time to put the transport service in place. We already have a couple of people.
